2、 Materials and Methods
1 Material
Natural rubber: High quality natural rubber is selected as the main raw material
Cigarette: high-quality cigarette is selected as an additive to improve the abrasion resistance and anti-aging performance of the rubber compound
Other additives, such as vulcanizing agents, accelerators, anti-aging agents, etc., can be added according to actual needs
2. Equipment
Internal mixer: used for mixing rubber materials
Open mill: used for rolling and forming
Vulcanization machine: used for the vulcanization process of rubber materials
3. Manufacturing method
(1) Ingredients: Accurately weigh natural rubber, tobacco leaves, and other additives according to the predetermined formula and place them in an internal mixer
(2) Mixing: In an internal mixer, the rubber material is mixed at high temperature and high pressure to ensure that various raw materials are fully and uniformly mixed together
(3) Rolling: Put the mixed rubber material into the open mill for rolling, making its thickness uniform and forming a certain shape of film
(4) Forming: According to product requirements, cut the film into corresponding shapes and sizes, and then proceed with molding
(5) Vulcanization: Put the formed tobacco adhesive into a vulcanization machine for vulcanization treatment, so that the rubber material has excellent physical and mechanical properties and chemical stability
3、 Results and Discussion
1 Results
Through the above manufacturing methods, we successfully prepared high-quality cigarette adhesive, and its performance indicators are as follows: tensile strength ≥ 20MPa, elongation at break ≥ 500%, hardness (Shore A) 60 ± 5, excellent wear resistance, and good anti-aging performance
2. Discussion
In the manufacturing process of tobacco adhesive, mixing is a key link that determines the quality of the adhesive material. To ensure the mixing effect, we need to control the temperature and pressure of the internal mixer, as well as the mixing time. Meanwhile, selecting appropriate additives is also an important means to improve the performance of rubber materials. For example, adding an appropriate amount of anti-aging agents can prolong the service life of tobacco adhesive; Adding an appropriate amount of vulcanizing agent and accelerator can improve the vulcanization speed and degree of rubber material
4、 Conclusion: This study successfully explored a manufacturing method for tobacco adhesive, which has the advantages of simple operation, high efficiency, and stable product quality. By optimizing the formula and process parameters, we can further improve the performance indicators of tobacco adhesive and meet the application needs of different fields.
