Manufacturing method of a highly active polyether polyol
I. INTRODUCTION
A highly active polyether polyol is an important raw material for the production of chemicals, which is widely used in the fields of polyurethane foams, elastomers, adhesives, coatings and the like. With the continuous development of science and technology, the manufacturing methods of high-activity polyether polyols have been improved to enhance their performance and quality. II. Raw materials and equipment
1. Raw materials: ethylene oxide, acrylic acid, catalyst (e.g. potassium hydroxide), polymerization inhibitor, etc.
2. Equipment: reactor, stirrer, thermometer, pressure gauge, condenser and so on.
3. Manufacturing steps
1. Add the catalyst into the reactor, add appropriate amount of water and stir well.
2. While stirring, gradually add ethylene oxide and control the reaction temperature so that ethylene oxide reacts with water to form ethylene glycol.
3. Add acrylic acid to the reactor and continue stirring to react acrylic acid with glycol to form acrylate.

5. At the end of the reaction, a polymerization inhibitor is added to stop the reaction.

4. Precautions
