I. INTRODUCTION

In the process of chemical production, the foam problem often affects the production efficiency and product quality. To solve the foam problem, antifoam agents are widely used. Among them, polyether defoamer has become an important additive in chemical production due to its excellent performance and wide application. In this paper, the manufacturing method of polyether defoamer will be introduced in detail.

II. MATERIALS AND METHODS

(3) Starting agent (e.g., glycerol, propylene glycol, etc.)

3. METHODS OF MANUFACTURING

(1) Add the starting agent and the catalyst to the reactor, and heat it up to appropriate temperature.

(2) While stirring, gradually add ethylene oxide and acryl alcohol, control the charging rate and reaction temperature, and carry out the polymerization reaction.

(3) After the reaction was completed, post-treatment was carried out, including neutralization, decolorization and filtration steps, to obtain the polyether antifoam agent.

III. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Through the above method, we successfully manufactured the polyether antifoam agent. The product has good defoaming performance and stability, and can meet the requirements of chemical production.

2. Discussion

During the manufacturing process, we need to pay attention to the following points: firstly, control the dosing speed and reaction temperature to ensure the smooth progress of the polymerization reaction; secondly, pay attention to the product quality during the post-treatment process to ensure the purity and activity of the defoamer; finally, pay attention to the safety during the production process and comply with the relevant operating procedures.

Through the manufacturing method introduced in this paper, we successfully manufactured polyether antifoam agent, which provides an effective foam solution for chemical production. The manufacturing method is feasible and operable, and can provide reference for actual production.
